The white wine Sommeracher Katzenkopf Scheurebe Spätlese trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Zehnthof – Familie Weickert has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Scheurebe from the region Franconia in Germany.
A hint of balsamic, terpene spice, floral, very ripe, delicate and - according to one judge - "flawless". Strong alcohol, full, mineral, noticeable sweetness and rather late emerging acidity, exciting: has the spiciness of a sweet wine with the power of a dry wine. Good length.
