The white wine Sommerach Katzenkopf Silvaner Spaetlese Alte Rebe trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Zehnthof – Familie Weickert has been rated in 2017 with 86 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
The ripe yellow fruit of pears and nectarine has a tart twist reminiscent of grapefruit. Propere fruit in the drink with good juice and creamy texture, it stops aromatically halfway up the stairs and turns off the light. Too bad.
