The red wine Dreiegg Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Zimmerle has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Württemberg in Germany.
A still closed aroma that is appropriate for its age, but seems consistent and clear, there is some oak character, hints of ethereal herbal savouriness, but also wild cherry and dark wild berry. It is full on the palate, with mellow but not tension-free tannins, ripe acidity, lots of midpalate drive, juicy, and with a delicate finish. It seems very complete and should evolve into a wine of great complexity.
