Well-judged aroma has notes of ripe pear, mirabelle plum compote, smoke, spiced salt, some clove, juniper and a fine sherry note. The palate is well built with vivid acidity, it has substance, drive and texture on the right scale, and the finish shows a fine saltiness. It is an individual chardonnay that speaks in both High German and Swabian. .
