Cinnamon and plum, also black cherry, a rich fruit. On the palate, the wine shows a power that is absolutely unusual for this variety: oiliness, fullness, grainy but ripe tannins, well-integrated acidity, extracted sweetness, and finally an alcoholic fire that is captured by the intense final fruit.
