The red wine »Cabaret Noir« trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weinmanufaktur Alois Metz has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabaret Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The nose shows some wood barrel influence, nougat, herbs, sage candy, red currant and sweet almond. In the mouth, mealy tannins put on a good amount of drive, the wine demonstrates intense juiciness and seems sinewy, fine-nerved and vertical in its construction. Complexity and length are good. An unaffected food companion.
