The red wine »Edition A« Achkarren Schlossberg Pinot Noir, vintage 2019 from the winery Achkarrer Winzer am Schlossberg eG has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Smoky, still quite vivid new wood, dark berries and sour cherry on the nose. Silky and juicy on the palate, with a slightly creamy background and rather mild acidity, a delicate mineral tinge lends freshness and liveliness. A charming, finely woven Pinot Noir with good further ageing potential.
