The relatively vivid new wood (cinnamon and milk chocolate) is complemented by intense dark berries and herbal savouriness, thyme, juniper. On the palate, the wine has volume and fullness, fine-grained tannins, medium length. You have the fullness of the Schlossberg in the glass.
