The red wine R Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Winzergenossenschaft Mayschoss-Altenahr has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
A gentle aroma of wet slate wafts into the nose. It is accompanied by fresh raspberry fruit and a hint of smoked pepper. There is little tannin on the palate, but a noticeable acidity. The high alcohol gives the wine good flesh and body.
