Small, fine house with a long history. With great sensitivity, an atmospheric and cozy inn has been preserved. South Tyrolean home cooking with excursions into Mediterranean classics is the order of the day. The seats on the terrace with a view of the Merano promenade are very popular.
If you're looking for unusual pizzas, you'll find them here. Neapolitan, of course, only with fior di latte and Italian tomatoes. The pizzas are made unique by extravagant special ingredients such as roasted almonds, candied lemon or flavoured ricotta.
The almost kitschy, over 100-year-old villa with its flowering garden and ornate façade offers a Burggräfler gastronomic experience on the romantic veranda. In the evening, the kitchen goes all out and offers a wide selection. Upscale cuisine, but the lasagne is famous.
In the "Trauti", the tasteful furnishings with a flair for unusual decoration, which nevertheless does not appear overloaded, are a delight. Outside, the most beautiful spots can be found under the romantic arbors. Upscale regional and Mediterranean cuisine and an excellent selection of wines.
The precision and creativity that go into every dish are impressive. Each plate appeals to all the senses and leaves a lasting overall impression. The focus is clearly on the finest fish and seafood specialties - and the ambience also matches the aqua feeling.
The best ingredients come from their own farm: an antipasti variation with homemade sausage specialties, cheese, fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden reflects this. The hotel's own bacon from the Veltliner pig, a rare breed, has won awards.
The Italian you can trust! You will never be disappointed with the quality. Bruschetta, homemade pasta and tiramisu are among the all-time favorites, and South Tyrolean classics such as dumplings and Schlutzkrapfen are also harmoniously served. Loving and very personal restaurant.
The eponymous dish can be found in countless variations on the menu and, of course, pizzas are also a must. The crayfish, oysters and seafood dishes are elegant and the meat dishes are perfectly cooked. A fine selection of wines, also by the glass.
The beer selection is impressive: from bottled to draught, light or dark, spicy to fruity, including non-alcoholic options. There are also hearty dishes - a cross-section is the Forstteller with knuckle of pork, spare ribs, sausage, bacon dumplings and even more side dishes.
A traditional tavern straight out of a picture book! For lovers of regional variety, the Rauthofbrettl is a good choice: homemade bacon, various sausages and all kinds of side dishes, all from our own production. The cress salad is a particular highlight.
