Located in Torvehallerne, Kiko Izakaya offers katsu sando, donburi, and a range of Japanese-inspired dishes. From 4pm, selected items are grilled over charcoal on a traditional konro grill. The menu combines Japanese techniques with ingredients sourced from local, sustainable Danish farms.

Like a fish on the hook, diners got hooked on the casual seafood when this concept started as a food truck in 2016. It now serves fish and chips, shellfish cocktails, and fish burgers in ten locations. This restaurant is a white-tiled basement in a 1600 s building, resembling a fishmonger’s shop.

Baha Maki left accountancy for the fish trade, and since 2019, he and friend Yasser Hamid have been the captains of the "Green Cutter" at Torvehallerne. The stall sells fresh seafood from coastal fishermen and serves dishes to eat on the spot, such as fish cakes from a grandmother's recipe.
