Although there are also a handful of soups and donburi here, the main focus of this small restaurant on Thielenplatz has been on sushi for 20 years, which is often ordered to take away. The slightly higher prices are due to the high quality of the fish.
There are inexpensive lunches here with platters and boxes for around ten euros, but Hanoverians like to make their way to the sushi restaurant in the evening too. There are also soups and noodle dishes. The food is good and the rice has a nice bite.
The name doesn't quite say it all; in addition to all kinds of ramen, there are also udon and soba dishes, as well as specialities such as tonkatsu or crispy duck with roasted vegetables. Together with the cosy atmosphere in the old town, this makes for a harmonious overall package.
Lovely little shop on the Lister Meile with friendly, attentive service. There is good, handmade sushi that is beautifully arranged. If you like, you can also savour Japanese-inspired bowls or ramen. The savoury miso soup is a good start.
