It seems that no distance is too far for Fabian Haschka to spoil the Linz public with the best drinks. He regularly travels to major cities such as London, tracking down trends and making contacts with the new generation of top winemakers. The guests are delighted.

Vinophile meeting place in the Linzerie (formerly Arkade). The Schenkenfelder family runs a boutique wine shop in addition to their main shop in the 400-year-old Vierkanter in Pollheimerstraße. Excellent (organic) wines from Austria and abroad and very good advice.

It can be considered a stroke of luck that there is a place in Linz that sends the palate on a journey to the Spanish wine regions. More than 30 fine wines from Rioja, Terra Alta and Priorat are served by the glass. Be sure to order tapas to go with it!

You can never drink enough sparkling water - and the berry and rose-scented Spumante Rosé from Conte Collalto is no exception. This is just one of the sparkling moments that await guests when they visit the Gustaria. By the way, Italian antipasti pair well with it.

Harry Katzmayr is a gastronomic veteran and established the Pianino as a trendy restaurant. In the "living room of Linz" you can not only dine excellently, but also enjoy a glass of wine (16 open) in prominent company. Or would you prefer a glass of bubbly?

The Alte Metzgerei is not a butcher's shop, but it does offer fine delicacies. Every Friday, Michael Walchshofer offers his offal special. The wines from the well-stocked menu go well with brain with egg, sweetbreads or Beuschel. A popular, cosy restaurant.

Anyone looking for special wines will find them in the popular vinotheque near Landstrasse. If something is not in stock, Klaus Gassner sets off in search of wineries and wines. But there is a lot in stock anyway: both familiar and unconventional.

Where it says Steiner on it, Steiner is in it. This applies to pancakes and bowls as well as the popular "Steiners Pfandl" with pork medallions in a tasty whisk(e)y cream sauce. Everything is skilfully prepared with love and served with charm. Accompanied by a glass of wine - perfect.

Vorchdorf has an astonishing density of restaurants. One of the many restaurants is Vinolino, where good wines, tasty food and warm hosts make for a memorable stay. The tasting of five wines plus antipasti is very popular.

Freistadt stands for beer. But it is thanks to Gertraud Freudenthaler that there is also excellent wine to drink here. From flagships such as "Das Phantom" or "Comondor" to "easy drinking" wines or the fine wines from Hannes Hirsch, everything is on offer.
