Steigenberger Partners with Porsche on New Hotel Brand

The German hotel company is partnering with Porsche Design for a joint hotel brand to be launched in selected international cities.

Promising Partnership

The hotel giant Steigenberger which currently operates approximately 160 hotels across three continents, has teamed up with Porsche Design Group to create luxury hotels. The joint hotels, tentatively called Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotels, will be launched in international destinations and the opening date for the first hotel is yet to be determined. This is considered a significant step for Porsche Design Group, the luxury brand inspired by its automotive roots.

The best of both worlds

By initiating the new partnership, Porsche and Steigenberger hope to increase their revenue, strengthen their brand power and reach new market segments. “Porsche Design brings a unique design philosophy to the partnership. And there is scarcely any company in the hotel business other than Steigenberger which has brought so much quality, service and passion to bear over a period of more than 90 years. With these strengths we create a new and exciting product which will encourage people to rediscover the hotel sector,” Marcus Bernhardt, CEO of Steigenberger said.
