TikTok hot spots for unforgettable content

With these places as your background, you are guaranteed to get bags of attention on TikTok.

TikTok has become one of the most popular apps in recent years, mainly due to the pandemic. Its downloads are rapidly increasing: more than 3 billion and counting. People have used various locations to film TikToks, from underwater to high up in the air – or simply at home. Falstaff lifts the lid on some of the hottest locations among TikTok users; places are known for making videos go viral.

Singapore Bay East Garden

A spot made famous by the many TikTok videos shot there is the breakwater at Bay East Garden in Singapore – an artificial structure made of rocks and concrete, accessed by foot or bike. It is a popular place for TikTok content because it not only provides a beautiful waterfront scene but also the chance to capture the stunning Marina Bay skyline as your backdrop. Especially at night, it is perfect for shooting content or simply enjoying the view.

Positano, Amalfi Coast, Italy

Another top spot on TikTok is the balcony view of Positano on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.  It has not only been used for plenty of TikTok videos (#positano has over 350 million views on TikTok) but is also very popular among Instagram users. For example, Kylie Jenner used the beautiful location, specifically the balcony of the Le Sirenuse Hotel, for one of her Instagram posts back in 2019. The fabulous view can be enjoyed from many such local hotels: they often provide balconies that make the perfect spot for a great TikTok video.

Bahamas

The Bahamas is a hotspot for TikTok videos, not just because of its beautiful ocean and unique attractions but also due to many famous TikTokers shooting content there. These TikTokers, like Charli D’Amelio or Noah Beck, have used the Bahamas’ beauty as their private Green Screen. The Baha Mar resort and Pig Beach are a couple of the uber-trendy locations for filming videos.

Bali

The Indonesian island is a world-famous destination not just for regular travellers but perhaps even more so among TikTok users. With about 17.7 billion views on TikTok (#Bali), it is safe to say that this place is on trend. Bali is known for its beautiful natural surroundings and gorgeous beaches like Suluban Beach, Bingin Beach and Tegal Wangi Beach, all favourites with TikTokers. Not only are the exquisite vistas excellent for filming, but restaurants such as La Brisa or Single Fin Bali are also perfect for those TikTokers focusing on food content.

Other unforgettable places that have been proven to make incredible TikTok videos are the Grand Canyon in Arizona, the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the top of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. But don’t forget that the most popular place to shoot TikToks is your own home, as ably demonstrated by a host of popular TikTokers like Khaby Lame or Bella Poarch.
