George Lucas and Mellody Hobson's Château Margüi is the exclusive wine partner of the 78th edition of the Cannes International Film Festival.
Château Margüi, the vineyard of film director George Lucas and business mogul Mellody Hobson, is now the official exclusive wine partner of the Cannes International Film Festival. The cuvées Château Margüi and Bastide de Margüi "1784" will be served in white, red and rosé during the 78th edition, which will be chaired by Juliette Binoche.
Also included are the latest vintages of the rosés Bastide de Margüi and Château Margüi 2024, which have just been launched. The year 2024 was characterized by contrasting weather events: Frost in April, rain in June and September. Nevertheless, last year's quality proved promising upon harvest.
The rosés of the Cuvée Château Margüi were crafted as single varietals, while the Cuvée Bastide de Margüi "1784" was matured in both stainless steel tanks and oak barrels.
