L'Apogée Courchevel: surprises at the start of winter

The elegant L'Apogée Courchevel, located at the top of a ski jump in the middle of the French Alps, offers its guests a variety of special experiences this winter.

It's no wonder that a hotel designed especially for snow lovers knows all about winter sports and winter experiences. This season, L'Apogeé in Courchevel is not only offering its guests spectacular views and a legendary winter sports area on its doorstep, but also a varied program. The renowned Oetker Collection hotel opens its doors to winter fans again on December 17.

With the star chef on the slopes

One of the unique experiences at L'Apogée Courchevel combines summits and delights. Every winter, chef Jean-Luc Lefrançois from Château Saint-Martin & Spa in Vence comes to the sister hotel. He is not only a Michelin-starred restaurateur, but also a summiteer.

Guests can explore the world-famous Le Trois Valées ski resort alongside him this winter. During a stopover, they will learn all about his passion for cooking. The menu for this VIP experience includes skiing and cross-country skiing, a little excursion into the art of Japanese cooking and culinary highlights.

Varied outdoor activities

Outdoor fans and adventure seekers who love snow but also appreciate experiences away from skiing and snowboarding are also well advised to choose L'Apogée Courchevel as their home base. You can take a dog sled on a speedy ride through the winter wonderland, explore the area on night-time mountain bike rides with snow tires and climb up a frozen waterfall. Even mountain tours with a 470 hp snowmobile and balloon flights are on the bucket list.

Time out at L'Apogée

And because there is nothing better than relaxing after an eventful day outside, the spa at L'Apogée is one of every guest's favorite places. Here you can retreat into the soothing warmth, relax and let yourself be pampered in the beauty and hairstyling lounge. In the hammam, in the salt crystal sauna and in the breathtaking pool, all guests will immediately find absolute deep relaxation. The billiard room and cigar lounge offer a different kind of relaxation. Guests in the 33 luxurious suites, the spectacular penthouse and the 20 spacious double rooms can also look forward to retreats designed by India Mahdavi and Joseph Dirand. The Chalet L'Amarante with five luxurious bedrooms, private cinema, spa and lounge bar is also available.
