The time has come: The aparthotel brand Locke will open the first hotel in Berlin and thus the third in Germany in June 2023. The Locke at East Side Gallery is located in the middle of Berlin's inner-city districts of Friedrichshain, Kreuzberg and Mitte and offers a beautiful view of the Spree River and the capital's skyline.
176 Studio-Apartments soll es umfassen, alle ausgestattet mit den für die Hotelmarke typischen Küchenzeilen und Wohnbereichen. Designed by Matthew Grzywinski of Grzywinski+Pons, the hotel's design incorporates its surroundings-such as the Berlin Wall, the Spree River, and cornering parks. The rooms are decorated in neutral tones; natural textures, such as coarsely woven grass rugs, rattan bedheads and exposed concrete with a powdery finish, skillfully accentuate the rooms. The walls are partially paneled with wood, and the burnt-glass partition in the bathroom is meant to evoke the Spree River.

Lifestyle aparthotel brand Locke continues to expand with its opening in Berlin. The hotel brand features closed studio apartments and is known for giving each location its own distinctive character and style.
Further new openings are planned for 2023 in London and Zurich, and from 2024 also in Lisbon, Copenhagen and Paris.
