New Miami to Paris service launched

Frenchbee now operating between Orly and Florida.

A new scheduled flight between Miami and the French capital started on December 15, with the inaugural Frenchbee service departing Miami at 9.40pm local time. The Airbus A350 will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays throughout December and the early part of 2023, with plans to increase the service to four flights a week in April.

Heading in the opposite direction, flights depart Orly at 2.30pm, arriving in Miami at 6.45pm local time, and with the cost of a single starting at €266, Frenchbee president Marc Rochet says “we expect it to generate high demand”.

Frenchbee is a low-cost airline and so additional costs will be incurred for checking-in luggage and food and drinks while on board, but it is already proving popular with seats being snapped up for December and early January. The airline already operates between Paris and US cities LA, San Francisco and Newark.
