Since its opening at the end of 2019, the Six Senses Spa Kocataş Mansions in Istanbul welcomes its guests with great service, unique style, unique ambience and a wonderful view of the legendary Bosphorus. Recently, guests have been able to enjoy another highlight: above the resort, a new hotel was built using natural materials from the surrounding area. Three-storey spa on around 1,500 square meters built in an environmentally friendly way. The spa is located in a restored, 100 year old stone housewhich blends in beautifully with the natural greenery. As a tribute to the city's past, a number of Artifacts from Ottoman palace collections used.
Wellness oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city
The spacious wellness oasis offers guests five treatment rooms, three hammams, two steam baths, two saunas, an extensive Relaxation area and a Boutique and a Anti-Aging Center. But that's not all: even a Pilates studio, a nail bar and an alchemy bar are located there. Travelers can enjoy locally inspired, multi-faceted treatments at this temple of relaxation, such as Massages, facials and hair, body and beauty treatments enjoy. The spa uses the French skincare brand Biologique Recherche and Subtle Energies for Ayurvedic aromatherapy rituals.
One of the biggest highlights of the new spa is undoubtedly the Turkish hammam. This unique experience is carried out by local hammam experts and has an invigorating and rejuvenating effect to the spa guests. Also the Interior of the hammam is unique: It offers a spacious lounge, a decorative glass wall that lets in natural light and provides guests with a breathtaking view of the Bosporus opened

Design inspired by local culture
The design of the treatment rooms is based on the traditional culture of the country: The walls of the treatment rooms are inspired by the Blue Mosque with blue tiles to celebrate Turkish culture. Red, linear details give the walls a natural, authentic and smooth finish.
The Six Senses Kocataş Mansions marks a new milestone for the brand, as it will be the Six Senses ethos of sustainability, wellness and local sensitivity to Turkish heritage skillfully combined - down to the smallest detail. Even the uniforms of the spa team are 100 percent made of sustainable materials manufactured. The resort has teamed up with the local designer Ezra Tuba which campaigns for sustainable and ethical fashion in Turkey.
