The Atmosphere Rooftop Bar of the The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna starts the summer season with the motto "California Soul". Guests experience pure Malibu Beachlife feeling with a touch of Hollywood flair above the streets of Vienna. And an extraordinary gastronomic concept as well as a gentle breeze of Westcoast sound may not be missing.
Sure, you can stick your feet in the Pacific in Malibu while sipping a cocktail from a cup. That's a wonderful feeling. But anyone who has ever drunk a Santa Monica Gimlet above the rooftops of Vienna, while the sun casts its burning red onto St. Stephen's Cathedral under a black-blue sky, knows: it can be even more beautiful! There is no better place to experience the beauty of the metropolis than the Atmosphere Rooftop Bar at The Ritz-Carlton. Throughout the summer, the motto there on the 8th floor is "California Soul".
The "Sunset Soul" event series takes place every Thursday from 3:00 pm in cooperation with Radio Superfly. The live DJ line up of the radio channel will curate a lively playlist consisting of a diverse mix of soul, funk, jazz, disco and electronic music.
The West Coast lifestyle is catered for in culinary terms. The food offer is exceptional for a rooftop bar. The diverse selection of sunshine food is more than just for the small appetite. Poke bowls such as Salmon Poke or Acai Bowl are on the menu, as well as a wide selection of seafood: such as Cobb Salad, Burritos, Oysters Kirkpatrick or Avocado and Crab Toast.. The menu was created by Executive Chef Stephan Zuber in collaboration with The Ritz-Carlton Hotels California. It emphasizes healthy fusion & trendy cuisine with plenty of protein.
A glance at the drinks menu would bring tears of joy to the eyes of many a Hollywood star. To start, there's a California-inspired spritz, Ayala champagne from Kate & Kon with Blanc de Blancs or a top Californian wine from the selection of "Falstaff Sommelière of the Year" Sindy Kretschmar. If you want something more American, you can have one of the 12 cocktail creations mixed at the Tiki Bar.. For all those who follow the motto "Drink & Drive": Highnoon, Golden Gate or Tea Time Tiki and Co. can also be ordered in a no- or low-alcohol version.
The Atmosphere Rooftop Bar at The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is now open and can be visited daily from 3 pm to 10 pm, whether the weather permits it.
