Chinese New Year at the "Four Seasons Hotel Beijing"
At the Four Seasons Hotel Beijing, the Lunar New Year is all about culinary traditions. The Michelin-starred restaurant "Cai Yi Xuan" focuses on the traditional "Poon Choi" - a traditional Chinese festive dish with a sharing character. Literally translated, the name means "dish from the bowl": poon choi is therefore served in a large, round bowl in which the ingredients are layered on top of each other. This special way of serving makes the dish a symbol of community and festive gatherings. Poon Choi" is available at "Cai Yi Xuan" from January 5 to March 3, 2026.
In its "Opus Lounge", the hotel also celebrates a limited edition New Year's afternoon tea. Flavors that can be found in the traditional districts of Beijing become nostalgic highlights: candied hawthorn fruits or a warm chocolate fondue start the Chinese New Year with sweet treats.

From February 3 to March 3, 2026, the Cantonese restaurant "Canton Blue" at "The Peninsula London" will be serving a menu that interprets the traditional symbols of good luck of the Chinese New Year: in addition to "Lunar New Year Dim Sum", steamed sea bass and chestnut cream with mandarin mousse are served - as symbols of good luck and prosperity. The "Little Blue Noodle Bar" has a cocktail menu with Chinese Baijiu cocktails specially curated for the New Year. Baijiu, an aromatic and powerful distillation classic, has always been enjoyed on festive occasions and stands for celebration, prosperity and communal drinking habits.
On Tuesday, February 17, "The Peninsula London" presents a traditional dragon dance in the hotel's elegant inner courtyard. The colorful dragon is said to drive away negative energies and bring good luck.
Alma Resort celebrates "Tết", Vietnam's New Year festival
