From December, guests of the mountain resort DIE KANZLERIN on the Gerlitzen can look forward to the culinary creations of renowned chef Hermann Andritsch.
Erst vor Kurzem wurde das Naturel Bergresort “DIE KANZLERIN” modernisiert, nun folgt man dem Qualitätsschub auch auf kulinarischer Ebene: Ab dem 3. Dezember wird Starkoch Hermann Andritsch, langjähriger sowie gefeierter Restaurant-Lagana-Küchenchef in Villach, auf die Gerlitzen Alpe wechseln.

Mit Hermann Andritsch zieht ein renommierter Name in die Hotelküche der “KANZLERIN” ein: Für seine Kochkünste gab es bereits drei Gault-Millau-Hauben sowie Top-Auszeichnungen von Falstaff, and À La Carte. The mountain resort restaurant is a literal climb for the cooking professional, as this is located at 1,500 meters above sea level.
The new altitude also brings new concepts, because the clientele on the mountain differs from the business guest in the valley. "After a phase of experimentation, we are thinking about new food concepts that fit the spirit of the house, the guests and the sporty alpine environment," reveals head chef Hermann Andritsch. Details are currently not yet known - but high enjoyment with Austrian and Alpe-Adria flavors is guaranteed in any case.
