Chestnut Latte

Coffee

Coffee meets chestnuts: a taste of autumn in a glass

Ingredients (1 servings)
200 g Chestnuts, cooked from the bag
1 Double espresso
5 tablespoon(s) Sugar
5 tablespoon(s) Water
1 teaspoon(s) Cinnamon
Milk
1 pinch Vanilla sugar
Caramelized chestnuts
  • Bring the water, sugar, and cinnamon to a boil. Add the chestnuts and mash them using a fork or a hand blender until smooth.

  • Spoon about a tablespoon of the chestnut puree into a large glass, pour in freshly brewed espresso, and stir. Froth the milk, sweeten it with a touch of vanilla sugar, and gently pour it over the coffee.

  • Finish with a pinch of cinnamon and a few caramelized chestnuts on top. Your autumn-inspired coffee is ready to be enjoyed.

Tip:

The remaining chestnut puree—enough for about four more servings—can be stored in an airtight jar in the fridge for a few days.
