Classics like cevapcici are no longer so common in Croatia - and rarely as good as here. In general, anything grilled is recommended, served with crispy potatoes. Strong red wines from Tomaz in Motovun are ideal companions.
The location on the pier is brilliant, you have a view of the hustle and bustle on land as well as by the sea. Ambitious cuisine, with everything from beef tartare and giant burgers to pasta with clams and grilled fish. The pannacotta with orange ragout tastes great.
Much more than just a pizzeria - owner and chef Stjepan Dunatov really puts his stamp on the place. His ideas flow into the design of the restaurant as well as the concept. Wood-fired pizza, homemade pasta, octopus salad and grilled dishes are both good and fun.
