For almost 50 years, the Amatista family has been an institution when it comes to ice cream, and in Degerloch they have an impressive ice cream parlour. The spacious interior offers plenty of seating behind the glass front. Good ice cream in the Italian tradition, where guests appreciate not only the many classic varieties, but also the generous servings.

Located at the Löwen-Markt in Weilimdorf, far away from the city and fashionable trends, but with a large outdoor area. The Italian owners offer frequently changing dishes, lovingly decorated cups, good coffee, homemade crepes and also pizza.

Just a few steps across the street, you're at one of the most beautiful vantage points on Stuttgart's cauldron. The gelateria is only open seasonally, partly because it has little seating inside. But it was one of the first hotspots in the Marienplatz-Hype, on the flank of which, with a view of the cogwheel railway station, a new urban attitude to life spreads. The original from Rome has two street sales locations in Stuttgart in the 1-A-City-Lage (Bolzstraße 10 and Eberhardstraße 31). High-quality ice cream, free of flavourings and colourings, includes many organic regional ingredients and chocolate coating from Valrhona. Among the vegan and lactose-free varieties, the basil and blueberry-lavender ice cream is particularly noteworthy.

There are no real seats, but the square outside with its cobblestones and brick houses is very nice - and the ice cream is very good. The team has an incredible number of milk ice creams and sorbets, so they decide what to serve according to the mood of the day. Goat cheese and Earl Grey? Or would you prefer calamansi lime and throat cleaner (ginger sorbet).
