The red wine Cuvée Gérard, vintage 2019 from the winery Allacher Vinum Pannonia has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark ruby, violet glints, fainter broader ochre hue at the rim. Mild notions reminiscent of savoury wood, dark cherries, a touch of blackberry and vanilla as well as caramel nuances. Medium body, ripe plums, vivid tannins, and a little dark chocolate on the finish. Delicately savoury food companion.
