The red wine Poggiotondo Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Centolani has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense ruby red colour with delicate brightening on the rim. Compact on the nose, notes of plum and cherry, with aeration, comes a hint of hibiscus and black pepper. Concentrated fruit on the palate, lots of juice, grippy tannins, dancing acidity, savoury finish.
