Deep ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, brightening on the rim. Fine noble wood nuances, delicate coconut, black wild berries underpinned with a touch of plum, fresh fig and a little nougat. Complex, juicy, tight-knit texture, fresh cherries, ripe integrated tannins, very well-balanced. Certainly has ageing potential.
