The red wine Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Poderi Luigi Einaudi has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Ruby-red core with garnet-red rim. Slightly restrained on the nose at first, needs some air, then rich sour cherry and red currants, leather and undergrowth in the background. Still youthful on the palate, with strong tannins, lots of red fruit, long finish, should be decanted.
