The white wine »Urbanus« Pinot Blanc trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Clauß has been rated in 2017 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Toast spice reveals itself to be both sweet and spicy as well as smoky. The fruit is candied and dried. Sweet, concentrated impression. A surprisingly fresh wine with a generous use of wood, showing a tart mellowness and fine acidity.
