The red wine »Caspar Reserve« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Deutzerhof has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
On the nose almond, rosehip, and distinctly slate savoury aromas. In the mouth, the wine has a still youthful, compact structure, the grainy tannin has tension, and is mineral underpinned showing further development and certain ageing potential.
