The red wine Mavie, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Münzenrieder has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 91 - 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet, purple reflections, opaque core, delicate edge brightening. A hint of blackberries and cherries, elements of precious wood, fine herbal notes, hints of bergamot. Good complexity, juicy, black cherry fruit on the finish, salty, a hint of plums, sticks well, certain ageing potential, already accessible.
