Notes of herbal spice on the nose; dried thyme, wooden cask, cherry and plum, as well as blackberry. Flows nicely on the palate with well-defined structure and middling concentration; the alcohol is nicely integrated and the tannins are ripe with a pleasant astringency. A wine for the dinner table.
