Gerhard Wieser is one of the best chefs in the Alpine region. At Castel, his signature style has been evident in all aspects of the cuisine for 30 years – from breakfast to dinner. Hotel guests enjoy particular variety in the ÀlaCarte restaurant, which offers a wide selection of dishes that change daily (included in the room price). At ‘Castel finedining’, the focus is on a special culinary experience. Both restaurants offer a fantastic view of the surrounding nature through large glass façades. In summer, the façades open up and, in the ÀlaCarte restaurant, even the 100 m² glass roof opens for maximum enjoyment in the fresh air and under the stars. The extensive wine list, with a focus on Italian vintners, completes the dining experience.
The "Meranesse fine Spa", with its brand new outdoor infinity pool connected to the light-flooded indoor pool via a sluice gate, offers a refuge from the stimulating climate of everyday life. The spa also offers a wide range of facilities, including various saunas and steam baths, a spacious Kneipp pool, refreshing experience showers and sunlight-flooded treatment suites.
