2027 eröffnet ein neues Oetker Collection Hotel - und es wird spektakulär!
Some secrets still surround the Masterpiece Hotel, including its name. Here’s what we know about the new Oetker Collection hotel so far.
It’s well known that the renowned Oetker Collection consists exclusively of stunning, one-of-a-kind properties. It’s safe to assume that the newest addition will be no exception. This is supported by the details revealed so far, such as the choice of the glamorous St. Tropez as its location. A total of 11 Provençal houses have been seamlessly connected, promising a new vacation experience and blending perfectly into the natural surroundings. Here’s what guests can look forward to:
Vacation in the village
The property consists of two-story houses designed like a village. Situated between St. Tropez and the stunning beaches of Pampelonne in Ramatuelle, the former Le Mas Bellevue St. Tropez makes way for the new Oetker Collection hotel. This masterpiece will feature 53 rooms and suites, all newly constructed. Each unit will include a private terrace or patio. Guests can cool off in an oversized infinity pool, while the spa will be fully equipped to provide moments of deep relaxation.
Stylish restaurants and bars will provide culinary delights along with stunning views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. The focus will be on local dishes and flavors, celebrating Provence in a glamorous yet authentic atmosphere. Native materials, such as vintage tiles, play a key role in this design. Wooden pergolas and climbing plants bring nature indoors, while the surrounding gardens enhance the property’s natural charm.
Masterpiece of design
The stunning interior design is the work of Gilles & Boissier. Dorothée Boissier compares the hotel’s atmosphere to the experience of being on a sailboat: “A simple gesture brings the water so close that you can feel the spray gently brushing your face. Here, everything is immediate, close, as if immersed in the essence of simplicity. Unlike being on a yacht, where layers separate you from the sea, everything's within reach. It’s an invitation to embrace the essentials, reflecting the hotel’s philosophy: ‘What you have is all you need.’”
Accordingly, the focus was on a subtle interplay of materials and textures. Roman-inspired arches can be found here, textured plaster walls and arched windows as well as brushed wooden panels and straw bedheads. The color palette is harmonious, warm and inviting. Delicate pastel shades und wiederkehrende Designelemente runden das Interior ab. Es entsteht ein ruhiger Rückzugsort an der sonst so lebhaften Côte d’Azur.
Architecture and nature
The new property in St. Tropez highlights the Oetker Collection's ongoing commitment to expanding its globally exclusive portfolio of luxury hotels in the world’s most coveted destinations. For the architecture of the new Masterpiece Hotel, they enlisted Triptyque. The renowned French-Brazilian architecture firm intentionally designed a tranquil retreat.
Olivier Raffaëlli, one of the founding partners of Triptyque: “Der Hügel, der das Hotel is not just a backdrop, but an integral part of the experience. It offers valuable privacy and a Panoramic view of the sea, wie ein wohlgehütetes Geheimnis. Natürliche Elemente – Stein, Holz, mediterrane Vegetation – wurden ausgewählt, um dieses Gefühl der Verbundenheit mit der Landschaft zu verstärken.”
The name of the new Oetker Collection hotel, created in collaboration with the owner families Pariente and Essebag, has not yet been revealed. The opening is scheduled for the start of the 2027 season. This property follows the debut of the La Palma Capri in 2022.
