BISTRO SUVLAKI

An authentic Greek restaurant run by the great and friendly Yiannis Fanourakis, a Cretan who has lived in Slovakia for many years and whose specialties are literally adored by Bratislava residents. The interior is simple, because there is nothing complicated in these bistros, what is first and foremost is the incredibly delicious authentic Greek cuisine. The various souvlaki here are excellent – ​​the bistro is named after them – served in homemade pita bread, and the first-class gyros made of pork or chicken, prepared by hand, or the very popular bifteki – grilled meatballs made of pork or chicken seasoned with herbs, or filled with feta cheese. You have to come here if you want to experience the tastes of Greece in Bratislava.
