Gentle nose with notes of caramel, vanilla, dried fruit, oak and a hint of cocoa and nut, the latter gaining enormous strength with a little air. Soft and velvety on the palate, dried fruit, sweetness, a gentle spiciness and barrel notes unfold in the mid-palate. A fine honey sweetness, vanilla and notes of molasses lead into a gentle, medium-length finish.
