The quite fruity nose of pome fruit, apricot and moss is nicely supported by finely drawn peat. Elegant smoky notes are also found on the palate with balanced notes of vanilla and heather supporting the overall impression. Good length.
More about the tastingInitially light peat, which increases enormously with air, followed by baked apple and malt. Dark malty sweetness on the palate behind the strong attack, the peat is well integrated. Salted caramel in the finish.
