A sophisticated nose with notes of grape marc, vegetal hints, spices, vanilla, clove and some cocoa. Some oak is also recognisable. Gently bittersweet and spicy on the palate. Ripe grape, sultana and vegetal notes contrast with cinnamon and clove, and a slight herbaceousness is also evident. The dark chocolate becomes more prominent on the mid-palate and remains present until the finish.
