Surrounded by vineyards, on a proud hill overlooking Lake Kaltern: this is a great place to live and an excellent place to grow wine. Robert Sinn and his son Michael recognised this perfectly and have been producing organic wines since 2013. In the vineyards as well as in the cellar, they work as close to nature and as gently as possible. Wherever possible, machines are not used and work is done by hand in order to have direct contact with the vines. In the cellar, work is carried out according to the "from top to bottom" principle in order to partially dispense with the use of pumps. Traditional old methods meet innovative and modern technology. The wines are matured in wooden and steel barrels as well as in clay amphorae and fermented partly with and partly without skins. Robert and Michael Sinn also experiment a lot with fungus-resistant grape varieties and generally with alternative processes and ageing methods. The apartments at the vacation farm, which are furnished exclusively with regional natural materials, are the perfect place for a carefree stay.
