The Szigeti sparkling wine cellar specialises in bottle-fermented quality sparkling wines and frizzante. The grapes for Szigeti's sparkling specialties come from the Sektkellerei's direct neighbourhood, the Seewinkel. This remarkable region is characterised by the Pannonian climate - mild, with little rainfall and plenty of sunshine. Production is based exclusively on the "Méthode Traditionnelle". The range spans from classic Austrian varieties such as Grüner Veltliner or Welschriesling to specialties from selected single vineyards. This results in single-varietal sparkling wines that are characterised by their fruitiness and varietal character. Since the company was founded in 1991, two principles have defined its philosophy: a consistent commitment to the highest quality and an incomparable diversity of varieties. This sets Szigeti apart from many of its competitors and makes its sparkling wines so unique.
The exceptional quality of the sparkling wines, which have already won numerous national and international awards, means that the family business now exports its products as far afield as the USA and Asia.
