Personalities shape wines. Wines thus allow conclusions to be drawn about the character and knowledge of the winemaker. This has always been known at the Pacher Hof. In the 19th century, the Valle Isarco wine pioneer Johann Huber, Völklbauer in Elvas, introduced the Sylvaner, Veltliner and Gewürztraminer varieties from Germany and, through his own vine nursery, provided many farmers with pruning vines of white wine varieties that were still unknown in the Valle Isarco at the time. Subsequent generations of the Huber line established their own tradition of single-varietal white wines. Today, Andreas Huber continues the family's legacy. He does this - as his ancestors once did - with curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. With a great deal of flair, specialist knowledge and a fine nose, he succeeds in producing fresh, juicy and harmonious white wines full of character. They impress with their ripe fruit on the nose and palate as well as their pleasant acidity and beautiful minerality.
