Deep cherry red colour. Stewed blackcurrant, mint candy and some runner beans. The palate begins with fruit sweetness, then develops dense, mealy to fine-grained tannins and finishes juicy and slightly salty, with rather ripe, yet fresh acidity and a charming finish. A very well-vinified varietal wine.
