Cherry red colour, well covered. Cooked blackcurrants, mint candies and some chopped beans. On the palate it starts with a full-bodied fruit, then develops a dense, mellow, fine-grained tannin and finishes juicy and slightly salty, with rather ripe but well-sustained acidity and fascinating final fruit. A very well vinified varietal type.
