Rich, deep dark ruby with lots of violet shimmer. Compact nose, full of mulberries, beet, underlaid with cardamom and dark chocolate. Blossoms beautifully on the palate, supple and round at the front, lots of dark berry fruit, then hearty and gripping on the finish, still needs some ageing.
