The red wine Falcons Hill Red PGI Evia, vintage 2014 from the winery Avantis Estate has been rated in 2018 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah from the region Central Greece in Greece.
Deep ruby, with purple reflections, and a broad ochre rim. A delicate floral underlay, ripe black wild berry, hints of prune and orange zest, and with some liquorice in the background. Juicy, elegant, pronounced fruit texture, fine tannins, sweet fruit finish, with delicate vanilla and berry, and a chocolatey aftertaste. It is long, shows good freshness, and is already very gluggable.
