Bright ruby with a slightly brightening rim. Restrained, hesitant nose, first some undergrowth, later cooked plum and cedar wood. Firm tannins on the palate, slight saltiness with persistent elegance and finesse. Somewhat harsh but long finish. Still needs ageing.
