Tasting Notes

92
Tasting from 22.03.2023: Ulrich Sautter

Slightly reductive nose, yeast, liquorice, nice savouriness with red cherry, some morello cherry, elderberry, clove, some anise, slightly ethereal, earthy notes as well. Sets on the palate with immediate intensity, a deep wine, finely proportioned with abundant fine-grained tannins, vivid and well-balanced acidity, fruity, nice spice, juicy yet a touch of dryness on the finish. Mineral underpinnings and good length.
