Tasting from 14.09.2022: Ulrich Sautter

Comparatively deep colour. Notes of Mirabelle plum, apricot, a little kiwi and gooseberry on the nose. On the palate, the wine is powerful, sturdy, full-bodied, with concentrated but mature acidity, pleasantly restrained sweetness and a serious, muscular style. Spicy finish.

Deep lemon yellow in the glass. Fragrant nose, elderflower, candied lemon, juicy, sun kissed apricot, honeydew melon, ripe red apple. Juicy fruit on the palate, a lively acidity structure, fine fresh lemon, fine spiciness, beautiful smoothness, light and pleasantly tart finish. A beautiful interpretation of the PiWi Sauvignac variety.
